Mama, What Color is Your Love? (SOFTCOVER)
On the surface, "Mama, What Color is Your Love?" is a children’s story about colors. Go a layer deeper and you will learn about the love of a mother and her child as witnessed in the beauty of the world around them. But go to the root and you’ll see that it’s really a love letter to anyone who has ever wondered how to make love visible or ensure their love is felt, even after they are gone.
About the author:
Courtney Vashaw is a mother, writer, actor, community coordinator, and a badass librarian. Her life’s work has been that of service in the areas of education, public policy and advocacy, and local non-profits.
A lifelong resident of New Hampshire’s North Country, she is a woman of diverse skills and talents. She really like words, both her own and those of others, and has been known to turn them into money for organizations she loves. Courtney is pretty sure she should play the lottery more, and unwittingly lives the “go big or go home” adage by being a “miracle” survivor of a one-in-a-million cancer. She is very excited that she has lived long enough to be getting gray hair. Seriously.
She lives in the North Country with her wife, children, and menagerie of creatures great and small. Tragically, she is not to be trusted with houseplants.
