Josh Simonds - Founder, CEO
Josh Simonds has been an entrepreneur since 2013 when he began “Face First Solutions,” a marketing business serving small, locally owned businesses in the northern reaches of Vermont and New Hampshire. Discovering his psychic and mediumship gifts in 2016, he began offering those services professionally to the world while also opening Deep Earth Arts with his husband, Isaac.
The author of “The Beginner’s Guide to Runes,” as well as his first photo-poetic book, “The Spaces Between,” Josh’s goals have always been to provide clarity, connection, and direction. He not only seeks to help people understand their spiritual path and connect to their Ancestors & Beloved Dead through his work as a medium, he seeks to help people keep their stories alive through Deep Earth Press.

Robin Silverman - Head of Editing
Robin Silverman wants to help you tell your story.
A New Hampshire native, she now lives in the Vermont woods and cultivates a deep relationship with both the natural world and the history of ideas. Courtney Vashaw - The Librarian, Head Curator of Classical Works & Children's Literature
Courtney Vashaw has spent her life working for the greater good in the fields of education and community development. Holding undergraduate degrees in Sociology and English and a Masters in Education from the University of New Hampshire, as well as a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Leadership and Curriculum Development from Plymouth State University, Courtney has done significant research and work in rural development, community leadership, and pedagogy.
After 16 years as an educator and administrator in public and private schools where she taught middle school through college, Courtney’s life took a significant and unexpected detour through “Cancerland.” Her journey brought her back to writing as a form of self expression and therapy. Her essay “Harmony Amidst MRI Dissonance,” written with Memorial Sloan Kettering’s Visible Ink program, was featured in their 2018 anthology and staged by Broadway’s incomparable Marin Mazzie. Her children’s book Mama, What Color is Your Love? spent time as a #1 best seller in Amazon’s grief and dying section, and helped her explore the permanence of a parent’s love while acknowledging her own mortality.
An accomplished public speaker and classically trained singer, Courtney believes in the power of the written and spoken word to heal, connect, and transcend. When not acting as steward to a 120 year old haunted Carnegie library, Courtney can be found behind the scenes and in the front of several nonprofit organizations, literally onstage with Theatre UP, or in the barn with her horse. She lives a beautiful life in the North Country of New Hampshire with her wife, children, and many animals. Courtney looks forward to helping others explore their voices on and off the page. -

Dayna Flumerfelt - The Historian, Head Curator of Historical Works & Editor
A Virgo sun, Virgo moon, Dayna has an affinity for the details. Combined with a degree in Multimedia Communications, her skills in editing & proofreading will help to make your stories shine. Dayna has been reading since age 3, giving her decades of experience within the pages of many genres. Of all the books in her personal library, her favorite shelves are the Presidential biographies & her Erik Larson & James Baldwin collections.
Dayna is a New Hampshire native, with ancestry tracing to the early townships of Stark & Milan. In her scouring of local histories, she learned that the documentation of our rural way of life has been on a decline in recent generations. Many town histories were written mid-1900s, with decades of time not yet captured. Her hope is that the services of Deep Earth Press will help to turn that trend in the right direction.
