Wednesday’s Writing Tip
09/21/2022
Start by setting one small writing goal. You might try setting a goal of writing every day for at least ten minutes or write at least one page a day. Consistent effort each day will add up. One page will turn into five, which will turn into twenty and before you know it your project will be complete. You may also want to set larger goals to work towards. If you have a date in mind that you would like to finish your manuscript, you can break it down into smaller goals.
The key is to set realistic goals. Start small and work your way up to bigger ones. Have you ever heard the saying: How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time. Writing a novel works the same way. How do you write a novel? One word at a time.
